Popular Virtual Assistant Site iWantSandy To Close
Okay, time to throw some tech (like I promised because people always say I’m techie).
Popular website I Want Sandy (iwantsandy.com) is going out of business because the founder of the site, Rael Dornfest, is now getting a job with Twitter according to the post he made here on the iWantSandy help site. Now, I wouldn’t consider myself an avid user of iWantSandy, but I do use it when needed and must admit that I’m quite sad to see the site go. In addition, I probably would have recommended the site at some point on the blog, because it is a great site where you can get a virtual assistant (Sandy, of course) to do some of your simple tasks including sending out reminder emails, and handling simple tasks on your calendar.
It’s really sad to see Sandy go, but hopefully there will be a glimmer of light sometime (you might be saying: “Give it up- it’s not that bad) soon with the people like Sandy’s Back who are trying to come up with an open-source alternative to the software.
