Welcome to the GrantBlog, now using WordPress 2.7 (as opposed to 2.6.5)! For the first time ever, the GrantBlog is now operating on WordPress 2.7. Yay!

WP2.87 has several new features including a completely re-designed back-end (the secret cave where I write my posts) as well as several performance updates. My opinion? Sure, the new admin interface is great, but for me (even though I am really tech-savvy) it will take a while to get used to. Finally, because I actually have more homework to do tonight, I wanted to thank WordPress for adding an auto-update feature to their newest release. Even though I used to update WP through Fantastico (in cPanel), I’ve had to update some of my client’s sites who do not have cPanel- and let me tell you that that upgrading was a PAIN IN THE !!! I apologize for that- what I meant to say was a pain in the NECK!
