ATT is coming under fire for the fact that they aren’t going to be supporting MMS (multimedia messaging service picture and video messaging) in Apple’s new iPhone OS 3.0. They say it will be not until “late summer” until the feature becomes supported by the carrier and some are even saying that it will cost more than regular AT&T users currently pay for it.

Another awaited feature, phone-to-pc tethering (using your phone’s internet connection on a computer), also won’t be supported by AT&T supposedly because the plans are not ready yet.

Although both features were announced at the iPhone 3GS’ unveiling on Monday at the WWDC, Apple reputedly mentioned that ATT didn’t support those features. I particularly enjoy this post by Spencer titled “The new iPhone 3GS keeps it’s worse feature: AT&T“.
